Recently, we’ve had the privilege of working with Thomas, a passionate young DJ, who came to us with a strong desire to refine his skills and take his passion to the next level. Mez is Nest’s DJ mentor, a guide, and a source of inspiration for aspiring DJs at all levels. His extensive experience in the music industry and passion for teaching make him the perfect person to lead Nest Studios DJ program. Mez offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to the needs of each student, as we’ve found that a personalised learning experience is always a more impactful one.
What level are your DJing skills at?
For beginners, Mez focuses on the basics of DJing, laying a solid foundation that sets the stage for future growth. Novice students learn essential techniques such as beatmatching, mixing, and transitioning, all fundamental skills that are crucial for any DJ and form the building blocks for more advanced techniques.
As students progress, Mez introduces more complex techniques and concepts. Intermediate students delve into the art of scratching, sampling, and using various DJ software and hardware.
